Great Bed

Like the previous person who reviewed this bed I agrre that it is well built and visually appealing. It was really simple to put together and my 3 year-old son loves it. He is restricted to the botton Double bed but occasionally my wife or I put him on the top bed when we are there to supervise. He loves the view! :)

The only downside is that the drawer compartment smells a little "mouldy" with the pine smell mixed. I don't know if the wood was totally cured or if it got humid during transport from Brazil. Besides this, great buy and value for money!

Great Bed

I bought this bed for my 9 year old son. He loves it. It is made of actual wood (Pine) and has an oil finish. It was easy to put together as I put it together without the help of my Husband (son couldn't wait until he got home).

I coudn't get any one to answer me at the store if it was indeed a twin over double so for all those wondering the bottom bed is a double. It is on casters and the only complaint is that the casters are useless as they are too small for the weight of the bed.

Bed sizes for the mattresses

i mean, can i just NOT set up the bottom bed, to make free space underneath for a toy bin/dresser or just room to play underneath? My son's 8 and he has a really small room so im sure he'd love the extra space underneath to play.

This bunk bed is not set up to have the desk facing in when the double bed is removed. The holes will not be drilled in the correct places.
I would highly recommend against trying this.
