winter pool cover save your $$

Made from the thinest trap materials,the ratchet broke on first use, the spring fell out, grommets pulling through the tarp. I bought this cover as a limb fell and tore existing cover and there is not much on market in APRIL. Used ratchet from exiting cover to tighten the cable Likely will have to buy a better one in the fall.

Pros:Â Easy to use

Cons:Â Poor quality

we though we were getting a royal blue cover and waited a month (as was on backorder) to discovere just the generic ugly black cover available locally.

Pool cover information

I am looking for a 18 foot pool cover other than the solar types (bubble plastic type) that sit on top of the water. I purchased the pool from Sears last year and it has a blow up rim. Would the winter pool cover (06076970210) work or is it not convienient to take on and off? Is it secured with rope along the edges?

Hello JuanitaC,

Our buyers have indicated that the Sears Item # 69702 winter cover would probably fit but it is held with wire and a winch which may not be convenient. The winch is usually secured on a metal post.

The Winter Pool Cover does not come in the size 15 x 24' Oval.

The only 15' oval winter pool cover size is the 15 x 30' oval.

Please order the 28 foot round Winter Pool Cover as the other size will be too small. Everything comes with the cover. The cover is held down by a cable and a winch.
