Rated 3 out of 5 by from Boring colour, Too Stiff to Hang Smoothly I ordered these panels for the colour - green-beige. The colour was correct, but I would say that, due to the light-blocking foam backing, they hung rigidly rather than smoothly. Despite the colour being correctly named, the fabric looked too dull, especially as I require 6 of these panels for my living room. In addition, I always have to hem up these 95" length to 90" length. It amazes me that Sears and other retailers in Canada, don't recognize the need for 90" length curtains. So many people require this length, especially with today's housing construction. Back they go.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Black out Drapes do the job! Bought the drapes to cover a couple of windows in a tv room and they are perfect! No light is getting in!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from pretty good They keep out alot of light. They aren't quite as white as I was hoping for more of an off white. I guess I didn't read it properly and ended up having 4 curtains to cover my whole window not noticing it said 2 panels. Overall pretty good though.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Blackout curtains These curtains do what the description in the catalogue says they are 100% blackout but the material is a bit stiff and the creases from packaging do not come out easy. I am still working on that. I think if the curtain panels were packed as they would be hung and not folded into tiny packages Would be better but on the whole I am very pleased with the product.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Colour I ordered antique blue curtains but actually they are a light green. However, they do look nice and keep the light and cold air out.

Window dimensions are 51 W by 66 H.  Assume we would want 2 panels but the height is the question.  We think 72" would look the best.  Can you get these curtains in that length?  Thanks.

Ironing?

Are you able to Iron these curtains?...If not what is the best way to remove the wrinkles caused by the packaging?
Asked by: Kate789
Hello Kate789, Our supplier has indicated that a steamer could be used to remove the wrinkles from the Whole Home®/MD Suite Heavyweight Foam-back Black-out Back-tab Panel. You could also place a sheet or towel on top of the right side of the panel and lightly iron. The temperature should not be too hot. Thanks for shopping Sears and have a great day !

window measurement

My window is 69" wide with 1" extra space to the left of the window and 24" extra space to the right of the window. My questions are: 1. Is there enough space for two curtains given my dimensions above and the curtain is 51" wide? If yes, will it decrease the effectiveness of blocking noise? 2. With 1" of extra space to the left of the window, does that leave sufficient space for the rod? 3. Sears instructional video recommends the installation of the curtain rode 4 inches above the top edge of the window, but the top edge of my window reaches right to the top of the ceiling. How will the installation of the rod without any space above the window top edge negatively impact the blocking of noise and light? 4. Could you please confirm if this is the most effective curtain in blocking noise? 5. The product description states "Eight 2" W x 4" L tabs per panel". What are "L tabs" and what is a "panel"? Thank you very much!
Asked by: curtainsToBlockNoise
Hello curtainsToBlockNoise, Each Whole Home®/MD Suite Heavyweight Foam-back Black-out Back-tab panel or curtain (2 panels are shown in the photograph) is 51" wide when measured flat. The product description indicates that you should order 2-3 times your rod width for the proper fullness and to take advantage of the blackout feature. The Whole Home®/MD Suite Heavyweight Foam-back Black-out Back-tab Panel has eight L-shaped back tabs that your rod would slide through. These tabs are hidden behind the top of the panel. Thanks for shopping Sears.
