Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not as room darkening as I thought they would be by description... Still have to have pull down blind

Rated 5 out of 5 by from wholeHome CLASSIC(TM/MC) 'Wilshire' Blackout Back- The fabric looks great. Reasonable price. It definitely keeps the light out. The Earth colour is subtle and goes nicely with the soft greens and golds in my bedroom. Washes beautifully and irons out nicely. It is so dark in the room my partner said he feels like a blind man. I also appreciate the two different lengths. Everywhere I looked they only seem to carry 84 inch lengths which is the length of a patio door. My bedroom is a regular height and width. Sears came through for me!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from blackout curtains don't blackout I bought two of these panels hoping they would block the light that escapes through the blinds and existing curtain that I have in my bedroom. As curtains, they work. The quality seems pretty decent. But, as blackout curtains, they don't work. I can see light through it fairly easily, especially when my eyes are adjusted to the dark. In summary, if you're looking for curtains to *dim* the room, then these would be good ones. But, if you're looking for a night's (and morning's) sleep in a *dark* room, you're better off looking at other options.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Excellent Quality I bought these curtains for a spare bedroom, and am very happy with them. they are very well made unlike some of the others I had ordered. They do make the room very dark there for eliminating the need for blinds.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from good for exactly what the describe These panels work well to black out light, so block out some/most heat but unlike some of the other curtains sears has, you can feel the heat still coming through the curtain so not as energy efficient as the others, still nice though

Swatches and Pictures

I'm having a hard time matching the colours of the swatches to the pictures of the curtains. I was curious about 'parchment' and 'fossil grey'. Are either of them a warm pink/mauve grey? What is the colour of the first curtain pictured? Thanks!
Asked by: colourconfused
Hello colourconfused, No, the wholeHome CLASSIC(TM/MC) 'Wilshire' Blackout Back-tab Panel in the parchment and fossil grey colours do not have a pink/mauve tone to them. The first photograph features the fossil grey. The parchment (light beige) colour would be the lightest colour. Thanks for shopping Sears and have a great day !

Tab draperies

I want to be able to pull them aside in the daytime. How difficult is it to pull these tab tops aside?
Asked by: jdjd
Not too bad actually, that was my concern as well. We had no problem.

how many panels

how many panels would i need for a window that measures 96 inches wide by 54 inches high?
Asked by: sidewinder888
that depends on how full you want them when they are closed. 2 panels should probably cover the space, but if you are looking for more fullness I would get 4.
