Rated 1 out of 5 by from Blackout? Not a bit! I thought these were too cheap to do the job of blackout well and I was right. We put one curtain up with a closed blind behind it and it didn't begin to keep light out.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from fantastic curtains all round Does the job, insulates, blacks out, colours I picked are perfect and match everything in all my rooms as I used them in them all. Our home is warmer for it and lowered the heating bill as noted ours is not coming on as often now, I love them! Rooms look smarter and cosy for it too.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from pretty good They work as it describes. They hang nice and easy to put up, I like they are machine washable, and size and colour for my rooms and over door entrance is perfect, looks lovely. Works already at insulating by keeping window chill out, dark enough to keep you sleeping in the mornings and at night. Just not the same insulating backing I anticipated like my walmart ones that you can see are lined at the back with an insulating type thin foam type of thing yet feel just as thick so maybe! They are a better length. They don't look or feel cheap and do make the room look smart. Price is good! I've never been disappointed with items I purchased at Sears, including my top load washer, all good!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice Fabric, Wrong Colours I bought the ivory panels, even though other reviews stated a slight green tinge to them. That would have worked for me. The colours on this panel are actually a dark cream stripe with a light taupe stripe - not bad at all, but it does not go with my walls. The fabric is nice and reasonably thick, and the panels hang nicely. Once again, I would have to hem 95" length up to 90" length, a common ready-made size option in Britain, but who can afford the postage and duty fees? This panel will have go back.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great light blockage Fabric is a nice weight and feel and the light is totally blocked. It is not quite the insulating factor I had anticipated, but on the other hand it is also easier to hang than I had anticipated. The chocolate if VERY dark, so be prepared to hardly see the stripes because of the darkness of the colour if you make that choice. But it is nice... and I like the choice of two methods of hanging the curtains. I used the hidden tabs in the end.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I really liked the quality of these curtains. I didn't keep them as they were darker than I wanted and had a tone on tone stripe which made them a little to formal for my casual bedroom.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Blackout curtains Very nice material not cheap looking. Love the back tabs they fit over a 3" rod so I didn't have to buy new rods. Just had a hard time finding the right colour to go with taupe. Will probably order a set for the bedroom next. Similar curtains at a "home" store were double the price.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from GREAT PRODUCT FOR A GREAT PRICE Very happy with the quality of our drapes - they certainly help to keep the warmth in and the cold out! We are hoping they will do the reverse in the summer! We did however have to have them shortened because unfortunately sears either offer really short or really long drapes.

Is Deep Plum actually dark pink?

It might be just my monitor, but the deep plum looks quite bright, like a dark fushia. I'm guessing it is on the red side of purple, and not on the blue side. But is it very dark? Thanks!
Asked by: colourconfused
Hello colourconfused, Yes, the wholeHome CLASSIC(TM/MC) 'Serene' Blackout Duo-Rod, Back-Tab Panel in the deep plum is more on the red side. Thanks for shopping Sears and have a great day !

Colour of the back side

I was wondering what the colour the backside of these blinds are. I live in an apartment and want some black out blinds but the colour facing the street must be white. Are these blinds white on the back or do they have the same pattern?
Asked by: fourwinds
They are curtains and they are white

What colour is hazelnut?

I am looking for a gold colour. Do these drapes look gold or are they more brown? Some images in the catalogue look gold, others look beige/brown.
Asked by:
They are more brown. I would order them as it really depends on your wall paint and lighting also.
