Rated 4 out of 5 by from Attractive but not as sun-filtering These blinds are attractive and easy to operate. They are well made. I am pleased with them and will keep them now that they are installed. However, they don't filter the sun as much as I thought they would. If you want a blind to cut to size, this is not it.

My window measurement is about 35 1/2 inches. Will the 36 inch blind fit or does there need to be more room for the brackets? Also, are these blinds returnable?

Valance & roll up

The photos are somewhat confusing, as some show a valance, and others do not. Is there in fact a valance? Also, it is called a roman blind, but in the description, is called a roll-up blind. These are two different styles of blinds. Can you tell me which is (again) correct?
Asked by: Lizzy1234
Hello, I am wondering if you ordered any of these and whether they're roman or roll up...I agree this is confusing, I am also looking for the bamboo roll ups without the valance. Sears used to sell them probably about 10 years ago and now I can't find the roll up blinds unless these are in fact the ones. Thanks!

can these be used outdoors?

Hello, can these be used outdoors on a balcony to block nosey neighbours? thanks.
Asked by:
If it says that they can be used outdoors then that fine. I found at Home Depot bamboo blinds that are for using outdoors and they work very well to give us some shade when we are using the bbq and give us privacy from our neighbours.
