They claim these are blackout curtains but they aren't. They let the light in. I had to return them.

The panels that I purchased for the 4 bedroom windows and the front room window are wonderful as they can be hung by back tabs or a rod. They hang very nicely and are great for blocking out light and sun.

Pros:Â Well constructed, Stylish

Cons:Â can't find tie backs to match material

I bought some drapes for the bedroom that doesn't let any light into the room. It works great as I work graveyard work and I sleep during the daytime, so I need it to be dark in the room.

Number of Panels to Order

My rod will be 75" for each of 4 windows. I intend to order two panels for each window (54 * 2 = 108). I calculate the fullness will be about 4" shy of recommended - two panels (75 * 1.5 = 112.5). Is this correct?

Color clarification

What color is "Earth"? I am looking for a dark chocolate brown curtain. I like these curtains (Whole Home Serene Blackout Duo-Rod), but the color is Earth and I am not really sure what that is. I can tell from the picture that it is a shade of brown. Is it close to a dark chocolate?

Hi there,

Just need to confirm, one answer says these come in pairs and the other answer says they are sold as individual panels that are 54" wide. Please confirm.

Also, what kind of a curtain rod should I purchase for these ? I don't need anything fancy at all as they are going into a company owned house that will be torn down next year.
