Rated 1 out of 5 by from poor These drapes were so creased that I could not get the wrinkles out. The picture in the catalogue showed them as a beautiful drapery, the fabric was coarse, good for a cottage on the lake.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from excellent curtains The curtains were exactly as described. Very good quality for room darkening and the insulation will keep the cold winter outside. I am very happy with the product. The hanging pins were not flimsy, but not the sharpest points for inserting in the pinch pleats. Required a little bit of work. I much prefer to old fashion hanging pins.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Terrible! Ordered two pair and both had flaws. The light still came through and they looked like plastic table clothes hanging on the windows.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Whole Home 'Kingsley Insulated Pinch Pleated Drape Very disappointed. Seemed fine when I got them out and loved that there were hooks provided. It was a sunny day when my husband hung them out and I realized I could see dots of light through the drapes. On closer inspection I found many tiny holes all over the drapes. These were through both the material and insulation and appeared to be on crease lines where drapes had been folded by manufacturer. It is hard to find pinch pleated drapes right now so still looking

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not worth the money I bought these drapes because we had cold drafts coming in our living room windows. They seem to stop some of the cold, but not all of it. I was disappointed with the quality. I expected something better. They have small holes in them, all over the place, not just in one area. I ironed then, but you really cannot tell, as they just look cheap.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from not as good as the others, but okay there was nothing really wrong with these drapes, the colour was true to the picture, and the pleats were okay, but overall they just didn't measure up to the price I had to pay for them. They are stiff so don't hang nicely and the material is lightweight, not the quality an insulated drape should be. I returned them. Last year I bought the Baxter pleated drapes and really, really, liked them, but they weren't available this year. At this time I also bought the Claudette pleated drapes. They are much nicer, heavy weight, well insulated, and hang nicely, but unfortunately I couldn't get them in all the colours I wanted.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from An unusual use Our church bought the drapes to hang on an archway between 2 Sunday school areas. Benefits which we see aare that the insulation reduces noise. We chose a mushroom colour as the youngsters are going to paint a mural on the drapes in the future. This colour will give them a wonderful backdrop for the middle east. Benefits which we hadn't anticipated are that we can now put on a minor stage production and also the reduction in light helps us better use the projector in the inner area. It will also help us reducae the area which is being heated all the time.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Pinch Pleat drapes I had been looking for pinch pleat drapes for years, needed something reasonable but not of cheap quality. Hadn't done any catalog shopping in years. In the midst of the Christmas rush, what do I behold but the most gorgeous drapes, where did I find them? Of all places in the Sears catalog. I thought, what the hey and ordered them thinking that they would be horrible. To my surprise they are lovely, good quality, the right color and didn't take long for the order to come. Sears you've once again sold me on catalog shopping as well as delivering the goods with these beautiful drapes and tie backs. Thank you. I love the quality, easy of hanging (hooks were even supplied with directions for hanging). They look elegant, when closed keep out the light as well as the cold. Excellent product, good workmanship and quality. I would definately recommend the to one and all.

On the pinch pleated drapes, if my total window and wall length that I want to cover is approx. 240 inches would ordering two 120 inch pinch pleated drapes fit. Will these pleated drapes take the slide-in-hooks or do they take the pin hooks only?

Asked by: Dirk42
Got my order and they were 2 only 60 inch wide panels in each package, had to have someone stitch them together to give me the 120 inch panels that I needed. Yes, these will take the slide-in-hooks. Hope if anyone else needs to know that this will help them make their decision

Hemming

Are these easy to hem? I have a radiator under my windows, and need to hem these to no longer than 73", but don't want to go even shorter than I have to. Alternatively, do you offering tailoring?
Asked by: Judyth
Hello Judyth, They would need to be taken to a seamstress to be professionally altered. Thank You for shopping sears and have a great day

Width of Pinch Pleated Drapes

I want to order these curtains but I am not sure what width to order. My window is 136 wide. I was always told to order 2 to 3 times the width of the window to get the proper fullness of the curtain but was told today that when ordering pinch pleated curtains, you only need to order the actual width of the window? If this is the case, I can save lots of money!! Any help on this would be appreciated.
Asked by:
When you order pinch pleat drapes, you just order the width you need, they're already at the fullness they need.

Rods

I am confused as to what kinds of rods you are talking about with these blinds. Are they a special rod you need or just like for your regurlar old back panelled ones.
Asked by: shoppingbabe
I'm in an old house, the rods were there already. It's not really a "rod", it's kind of like a metal track with small circle "eyes" in it, the hooks go through the eyes. There's a draw string at one side, you pull the string to open or close the drapes.

TIEBACKS

I have searched for the matching tiebacks. I see that it says they are sold separately but cannot find them. Can I have a link please? Colour champagne.
Asked by: Whateverusay
I didn't use matching tiebacks, I used designer ropes.

Panels and rod

If I order the 120" width, does this consist of 2 - 60" panels with a space in between? Or is this one panel of 120" length? Can a traverse rod be used with these drapes?
Asked by:
It comes in 2 panels. You can put a space between if you want, I put them together. They're pinch pleats, you need hooks.

Foam backing

Does the foam backing on these drapes enable them to show white/off-white to the street once they are hung? I am looking for navy drapes that have lining or insulating that will do this.
