Rated 4 out of 5 by from Seem ok Blinds seem to be good quality, although one was shipped with a seam not sealed and another had a crack in the plastic part that holds the chain. This may have been cracked in shipping but there's no way the blind with the seam not sealed should have been shipped. Also 4 out of 9 blinds were a bit to big. We had to file down the posts to get them to fit in the brackets. I know my measurements were right as multiple blinds were the same size. Out of three blinds that were the same size two fit perfectly and one of these was the one with the seam not sealed. We ended up gluing the unsealed seam where the scalloped part attaches and the plastic part so hope they last.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Goes perfectly in my kitchen I read the reviews before purchasing two of these blinds in dove grey. I am so happy that I bought them. I installed them inside the window frame as I wasn't concerned about the room being blacked out. They are exactly what I wanted. I was a little nervous about the quality of the draw string a mechanism, but after installing the blinds I was pleasantly surprised at the quality. I am not in the least bit nervous about the mechanism breaking with every day use.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product We ordered these blinds large enough to put above the window trim and wide enough to cover the window trim as well and it works great keeps the room nice and dark. Highly recommend these blinds. Like the pull cord which allows a person to adjust the blind to any length.

When ordering, do I need to add 3 inches to the measured width of the windows to account for the mounting hardware?

Mounting

Can this roller blind be mounted inside the window frame? Will there be a gap on each side because room is needed for the mounting? Thanks.
Asked by:
Yes there is a slight gap, but only about a 1/4 inch on each size. The blind still blocks out a lot of light. If you want total darkness measure and mount on the outside of window trim.

Outside mount.

My window frame is not deep enough for an inside mount and the outside mount says to allow for 1 and a half inches on either side of the molding. There is not enough space available with a shower on one side and a full size mirror on the other. Can I mount the hardware directly above the molding on each corner? And how would you suggest I measure for this?
Asked by: RedoSue
Measure corner to corner of your molding and add as much space as you have available to your measurement to get the total measurement you want to order.

Should rollers be installed over the casing or within?

I'm trying to determine whether I should measure the width from the outside of trim to trim or inside of trim to trim. The goal is to get our rooms as dark as possible for our infant children who are having difficulty falling asleep during the summer months.
Asked by: EuGenius
My blind is mounted on the outside of the window on the window frame. It makes the room the darkest in my opinion. I have never mounted on the inside of the window frame.

can two be used for larger window

looking for room darkening..have an extra wide window can i use two of these and screw inside the frame?
Asked by: house6
What size is your window? I wouldn't recommend two blinds together. You might be able to do it depending on what type of wooden window frame you have, but you would have a space between the two blinds in the center.
