Really great piece of furniture

This bookcase is beautiful! I bought two and was able to assemble the second alone, but it was easier with two people as they are fairly heavy. The shelves are tall so you can fit photo albums or larger books. They are great quality, not cheaply built.

My husband and I really like the bookcase we ordered from Sears...it has a classic/antique look with lots of glass. It is made well and will be a nice addition to our office/spare bedroom. It has 2 deep good size drawers on the top. It will help us organize our papers and still look classy. Thanks.

Simplistic

Easy to assemble. I did on on my own in very little time. However, you will need help loading and getting it to the set up location it is very heavy.
It works great for displaying books and keeping small children out of them.

Beautiful pieces

After searching for years for the right pieces, I purchased two of these bookcases and am very happy with them. I gave 4 stars because they were a bit tricky to put together, but with 2 people it worked out fairly well. My only concern is that, after a year, the bottom decorative strip seems to be 'de-lamming'. I live in a very, very dry climate and perhaps that's the cause.The damaged part is small at this point and perhaps they could be re-glued without too much difficulty.

Overall, they look lovely: I've had many compliments!

top: 14 1/3"
middle: 12 1/2"
bottom: 15"
