Excellent productThe blinds are of excellent quality and shut the light better ( surprisingly dark) than other blinds purchased elsewhere. Installation was easy. Really satisfied with this beautiful product!

not even close to the color . made a mistake by not reading comments before ordering. Oak (color) is a very bright yellow/tangerine. May be stuck with the blinds as they were a special order. Overall, the other blinds that were ordered came out fine and very easy to install.
Hello. Can these blinds be wall-mounted rather than installed inside the frame of the window ? Also, once they are cut, will the color be the same on the cut edge? Thank you!

Wondering on colouring of blinds. Â I like a true brown so is the mahogany have a red colour to it. or should i go with the chocolate pudding for a more dark brown that I'm looking for?

Thank you for taking the time to contact Sears.
The mahogany color is more on dark brown and the red color is not too dominant. While the chocolate pudding color is brown greyish brown in color.

How do I measure if I want to split the window and put two blinds on one window? I'm interested in 2 inch faux wood blinds.
For general guidelines, when measuring for custom cut blinds, please view the following link.

what is the difference between whole home md 2" faux wood blinds cut to fit #241292885 and whole home md cut to fit 2" faux wood blinds #243053175?
Asked by: amiblind
Our system generates different item numbers for the Whole Home®/MD Cut-to-fit 2'' Faux-Wood Blinds, depending on the colour, width and length selections. The actual product is the same, it just has different measurements or colours.

Measuring width on blinds.....exact or minus
Your instructions say to give the exact measurements and that the factory or supplier will adjust by making them up to 1/4 inch smaller, and we are not to take this off BUT one of the reviews on the page says they got the exact measurements as ordered, so I do not understand. Do we take off a bit or we leave it up to the supplier. ordering alot of blinds and must have answer asap
Asked by: crystalmay
Give the exact measurements, the cutting facility will deduct 1/8 to 1/4". Do not take any deductions.
Thank you for choosing Sears.

How do you remove the slats and what happens to the excess string?
Clip small loop string holding slats in place and remove excess slats.
After removing slats cut off ladder rungs and left over loops only (do not cut the primary pull strings they are atatched to);
Remove buttons from the bottom slat, pull excess string through the botton hole, tie off string, cut off excess, tuck tail ends of excess into the button hole and replace the button.
All in the insutructions...

What is Foam Vinyl?
I am prepared to proceed with an order for these blinds but first, must understand what is the difference between FOAM VINYL SLATS (these blinds)and PVC SLATS (most of the other faux wood blinds) ?
Are they lighter weight?, heavier? tougher? felixible?
Thanks in advance.
Asked by: Jean410
They are a little heavier than vinyl but not by much. They are not as flexible but appear to be much better constructed.

I am going to be installing this blind on a door window for office privacy. The blind will never be pulled open to reveal the window. We will only be opening the blind by angling the slats. Is there a way that the blind can be attached at the bottom of the window so that it doesn't slap the door every time the door is opened?
