what type of stove, back vent and dishwasher friendly filters

does this vent hood work for gas stoves? does it have option to vent out back? if yes, what is the diameter of the vent out the back (how much space do you need on the wall to create the vent to exterior)? are the filters dishwasher friendly?

Hello,

Yes, this vent hood will work with a gas range. The required clearance is 27" (68.6 cm) minimum for gas cooking surfaces. The metal filters can be washed in a dishwasher or hot detergent solution when cleaning is needed.

According to the installation manual -

Venting Methods
Vent system can terminate either through the roof or wall. Use 3Â¹ââ" x 10" (8.3 x 25.4 cm) with a maximum vent length of 35 ft (10.7 m) or 6" (15.2 cm) or larger round vent with a maximum length of 50 ft (15.2 m) for vent system. NOTE: Flexible vent is not recommended.
