I researched different types of child carrier seats before I purchased this one. Reviews I read were positive and influenced my decision. We love the fact that it is a carrier that sits infront of us so we're able to interact with our 18 month old grandson while biking. He absolutely loves the outings. He's able to look around and his view is not blocked by our bodies. Getting on and off the bike is also very much easier than it would be if he was sitting behind our seat. Just swing our leg over as usual. This carrier is very well constructed and very easy to install. I was very impressed with the child restraint belts - very much like that of a childs car seat. We look forward to many outings with our grandson. The foot guards will adjust to his growth over the next few years.
