Amazing until they just stop workingAs I read all the other reviews I notice that they are at extreme opposite ends of the scale. My husband and I had similar sentiments as the people who gave 4-5 stars for reasons like excellent sound quality, range, talk to baby, night light etc. then three to four months after using them happily, the range lessened, they had trouble linking, the digital display disappeared and the most scary thing was when our 4month old was crying and his cries were NOT coming through the monitor! We exchanged them for new ones as the first sears associate was very gracious and were amazed to find that the new ones did the SAME thing after a few months! This is not acceptable and therefore we cannot in good conscious give a positive review.

Trouble finding linkI absolutely loved this monitor at first. We actually swapped it into our older child's room because of the nightlight and talk back options. However after travelling with it once and a number of power outages the parent units can no longer find the base. Lasted 5 months and after seeing another similar review I will be replacing it with a different monitor. Sorry V-tech.

Best Monitor I've ever seen! This is a great monitor set. The sound quality is exceptional, and I really like that I can talk to my baby from the parent unit. This is our second set of monitors, and we have many friends and family members with monitors, and this set is far superior to any other we have seen. We couldn't be happier with it!
Do the parent unit and baby unit have a way to indicate low battery?
Asked by: Sten
The parent unit starts to beep at intervals when the battery is low. The baby unit doesn't use batteries.
