Futon bunkbed is fine

Although I ordered a different bunkbed (single over double) this one came instead. Since it had taken 1 month to get the bed we opted to keep it.
Shipping and storage was a little rough on the unit because the metal was scuffed, scratched and rusty. However, this does not affect the sturdiness of the bed. It is very nice.
Since we wanted a bunkbed, not a futon, we put a regular mattress on the bed, but there is not enough room for the boxspring as well.
There were the right number of washers and nuts, but some were the wrong size. We needed 8 nuts of 5/16", but they sent an extra eight 1/4". Luckily my husband has a large supply of nuts so we were able to put the bed up. Also, they substituted 20 regular washers for the 20 special ones we needed(special is curved to fit into the frame... we put it up with the regular washers so we hope the bed doesn't start to rock around with time - it probably will, but we tightened the nuts up so as to bend the washers to almost the shape they should have been). I contacted the bed manufacturer (not Sears) about the wrong supply of nuts and washers (a month ago now) and have not heard a word.

Pros:Â Easy to clean, Comfortable, Stylish

Cons:Â not all parts sent
