Gold Hoop Earrings!

These earrings are perfect for my 10 year old daughter. They are easy to open and close and are not too big for a girl.

They are easy for her to put on herself with the snap closure.

Earrings suitable for everyday use

These earrings are fine for everyday use. Their description states that they are 15 mm, which is a small, dainty kind of earring. But they donât have a nice âdangle effectâ. I know that these are small earrings and wonât dangle like bigger hoops, but I was disappointed. (Part of the probem is that gold is priced very high these days - so these earrings seem expensive for what you get)

Pros:Â everyday use, decent quality

Cons:Â plain

Was disappointed at the size of these earrings, I returned them as they were too small, I should have know the price was too good to be true!

No the earrings are not 'solid' gold. "Solid gold" refers to an item that is at least 10k (in the USA) gold all the way through. Even though it's a gold alloy-18k, 14k, or anything down to 10k-it can be called "solid gold". The earrings shown are "wrapped" or "plated" in 10k gold as stated in the overview. "Pure" gold is 24 karat. The higher the k (karat) the higher the "percentage" of gold in an item ie:18k gold contains 18 parts gold PLUS 6 parts of one or more additional metals, making it 75% gold. Jewellery is not often made of 24k as pure gold is soft and easily marked and/or damaged therefore it's not really suitable for everyday wear. I hope this info helps you!
