I returned this as I found it a little tight for the size I usually wear. I was also worried about whether or not the crochet would stand up or if it would require mending when it was worn.

I ordered this dress in 2009 when it first came out, sizing was accurate as per the sears sizing guidelines. The lining in the black one I ordered was a stretch knit which made the dree very comfortable. Be careful when cleaning if the dress is wet ensure it lays flat to dry as it easily stretches out of shape. With time some mending in the crochet is needed.

Not what I expected.

There was lovely crocheted detail work on the outer shell but the lining/slip inside did not sit well under the dress because it was made of stiff/thick material.
