Kettle Corn Popcorn? (Two Questions)

1. Can you use "mushroom" popping corn or only "butterfly" style popping corn?

2. Can you add honey or sugar into corn oil and pop as if making kettle corn popcorn (add salt after popped)>

Hello,

You may use 'mushroom' or butterfly style popcorn with the Toastess Stir-Style Corn Popper.

It is not recommended to add other ingredients to the oil. The honey and sugar may be added after the corn has popped.

Please consult the manual for complete operating directions before using the Corn Popper.

popper be used without oil? I would preffer not to use oil.

The corn popper cannot be used without oil. The proportions of oil and kernels should be followed as in the manual.
