Q:Â
I purchased one of these saws at the end of Nov 2010 when they were on sale. First real use came over the holiday season. When using I noticed that the fence, which is a single unit, is out of alignment between the left side and right side. This causes a problem when performing a cut on a piece of lumber that needs to rest on both sides of the fence. So if you slide a piece of wood along the fence from left to right it catches on the edge of the fence on the right side once the wood has passed the opening for the blade. Is there any resolutions to this? Is this a known problem? Would a new fence resolve this issue? I can not see a way to adjust for this. If there is please advise.
Thanks

I read somewhere that you can remove the fence and set it on a solid surface and hammer it straight!
Guess what would happen with cast aluminum?!?!
I had the same issue with this saw and I returned it.
