Great monitor

We wanted a video monitor so we could see baby once we moved him to his own room. This works wonderfully. We can see him whenever we want to. We can tell when he's awake and if he's fussing or just making sounds in his sleep. It also shows how loud his fussing is. Most of all, we can tell if he's breathing and alright. This monitor has given us a great peace of mind, and made the transition to him sleeping in his own room so much easier. The volume on the monitor can be turned up or down, so you can hear every quirk, or just when baby fusses!
The range on the product is great. If I need to go outside, I take the monitor and know that he's alright. When I'm getting close to out of range, it beeps. The battery life is great. No regrets in buying this product!

Incredible Idea

Love the night vision and colour screen. First time parents will find the video screen a must. You can turn off the screen to save on power and simply hit a button to turn it on if you hear a noise. Only downfall is the 2.4 ghz is on the same frequency as most routers. So we find having the monitor on and by our laptops reduces our mpbs speed from 50 mpbs to about 5 often. This can make work very sluggish on the computer.

Summer Infant 2 Screen

It is wonderful to be able to see baby as well as hear him. I can check on him without them hearing me. Convenient and compact.

No. No light shines from the camera onto baby. There is a green LED that lights up when the camera is turned on, but it doesn't actually produce light in the room.

There is a light on the camera, like an on/off light, so you canât remove it but Itâs shouldnât disturb baby at all.

I just have a of question about the summer infant video baby monitor that supports more than one camera. Item # 324 269 025 10.
If you have two cameras set up for one monitor can you hear from both cameras at the same time? or do you have to switch back and forth between cameras?

This particular model has switch controls for audio and video.
Once you switch to the 2nd camera the video and audio corresponds to the room in which the 2nd camera is placed.
Once you switch back you then get audio and video of the room with camera #1 is placed.
