Baby Monitor is okay, but too much money.

The baby monitor is okay, it works well, the colour is good, night vison is okay but looks a little blurry, the talk to baby so great, the pan and scan part is great, the zoom is not that good, it is a one zoom. so it is a big jump to what you are zooming into, it is not a slow zoom in. The sound for listening to see if baby is crying is not that good, you need to have the volume turned up to the max. but over all i think it is a okay baby monitor.

Pros:Â Sturdy, Well-built, Stylish, Easy setup, very easy to use, very long plug in cord

Cons:Â zoom is a one shot zoom in.., volume to hear baby cry., night vison looks blurry

I looked into ordering a second camera.. and SUMMER won't ship to CANADA... WHERE DO I GO? I NEED a second camera!

This is my third baby monitor and I am very impressed. I love that you can control the camera from the parent unit, and that the parent unit is touch screen. Works in the dark with LED, and there is no interference so far. You can hook it up to your TV and watch your baby from your television if you wish.
Battery indicator is awesome (even gives you a percentage!) No fumbling with plugging it in as it sits on a magnetic base to charge!
Power cord for the camera is nice and long so you can put it where you want. Camera can also run off of batteries.

The only thing I would change is to put non-slip pads on the bottom of the camera so it doesn't slip so easily.

We bought this unit after the birth of our second child. We ordered a second camera to use in our toddlers room as well. So far we have no complaints. The picture is clear and the coins quality is excellent. The power cords that come with the cameras are quote long so you can position it where you need to without worrying about how close it is to an outlet. It also comes with clips to attach the cord to the wall to avoid any hazards. Additionally, when we called the company to order the secon camera, they were friendly and easy to deal with and the camera came within days! We're very happy with our purchase.

Yes it comes with an Av cable, but there is no battery pack with this item. the monitor part where you view the baby has a rechargable base that plugs into the wall and the camera part can plug into the wall or can take batteries. i think 3AAA batteies ( not 100% for sure on the size of batteries).

In the box there is an AV cable, parent unit, camera, two power adapters, instructions, and the battery is already installed in the parent unit. You can put your own AA batteries (4) in the camera base if you want to move the camera around without plugging it in (I think it will last 10 hours on batteries). The Battery compartment for the camera is detachable as well.
