Pretty good bed

This bed is pretty good. but the set up was horrible. the instructors were not clear. we ended up having to re-do the bottom of bed with the slats, as some of the pieces didn't fit properly. and, they do not give you any extra screws, and one of them was stripped, so we had to search in our own tool box to find one.

lastly, the cognac color is not exactly the same as the rest of the storkcraft cognac products (unless I got the wrong one?). I got the color to match his cognanc dresser from the baby collection, but there is a significant difference.

overall the bed looks pretty sturdy when put together. it's a perfect trainsition from the crib to a bigger bed.

Cons:Â difficult set up

Great transition from crib to bed

Our 2 year old son loves his new toddler bed. It was fairly easy to set up in under 30 minutes for 2 people. The bed does not come with a mattress, but we are just using our crib mattress.

Pros:Â Easy to clean, Comfortable, Stylish

My 2 year old granddaughter loves this bed. She is climbs in and out herself and it is the perfect size for a toddler. Plenty of room without the possbility of hurting herself if falling out.

Pros:Â Well constructed, Comfortable

Big Disappointment

I bought this based on other reviews and the look of the bed. It was a bit tricky to put the mattress support slats in place on my own but went together easily otherwise, BUT the headboard and footboard both had two small holes in them, along with the rails. Upon further inspection of the bed it was quite marked up. Storkcraft has yet to provide any explination for the holes. For the price paid, I feel the bed was not worth it, as mine is 1 week old and looks like it was bought 2nd hand.

Great Product!

This bed was really worth it, my daughter loves it! It's really sturdy looks great and it's very low so if she falls off she doesn't hurt herself.

What size mattress is needed for this bed?

We have the Stork Craft Deborah 2 in 1 Convertible Crib but cannot find a retailer that sells the conversion rails or mattress for the conversion. Any help with this either?

The Soom Soom uses a standard crib mattress. For the Deborah, you only need a standard crib mattress until you get to the full size bed conversion stage. When converting to a full size bed, use a metal bed frame with double ended attachments. Sears should carry this.
