Great crib

We loved this crib. The adjustable height came in so handy and seems safer than a drop-down side, since a child can't accidentally (or deliberately, when older), drop down the side himself.

We used it as a toddler bed when our son turned three and started trying to climb out of it.

The trundle drawer was SO handy - we stored all his crib linens in there.

Would recommend this to a friend. ;)

Beautiful Crib

Bought this crib for my sons room in the cherry color. very beautiful crib the color matched the dresser and changing table perfectly. Directions however were terriable!!

Great Product

We purchased this crib in a cherry finish and love it. My husband out it together relatively easy by himself. It is a good sturdy product made of solid wood. I am looking forward to the feature of the drawer underneath. You can never have enough space to store baby stuff.
We also purchased the stork craft 3 drawer nursery chest & tower in the cherry, the wood matched perfectly.

Good Crib

My husband and I have found that this crib has lived up to our standards so far with its use and our son is 6 months old. We found that set up was real easy even with only one person doing it. I was even able to lower the mattress board myself with no one helping. We haven't had any problems with it thus far and hope it keeps going like that. We currently have it in the day bed set up side-carred to our bed frame mattress and are co-sleeping still. I would recomend this crib to anyone. Its looks great too.

I never got to use the drawer because it would not stay together it was terrible! very poor quality it is not all solid wood as stated. i am having a second child and cannot reuse this crib it went to the dump!

items not included -how/where to order them

I notice that for this item:

The matress is not included -please let me know which matress I would need for this. And does the matress work for the crib AND the day bed?
Also, I would like to ensure I would have all the parts for the crib to be able to convert into a day bed. It says that the box spring is not included -is this only for the double bed? Checking that I wouldn't need anything extra to convert it into a day bed?
Also how long is dlelivery on this item -given the issue with the postal strike at the moment?

The mattress size should be at least 27 1/4âx 51 5/8â, and should not be more than 6 inches thick. The mattress should be of such length and width that the gap between the mattress and the sides of the crib is not more than 1-3/16 inches when the mattress is pushed into the corner of the crib.

This crib has everything included to convert it into a day bed.

Following my question about which matress should I buy for the following crib, I was hoping you'd be able to tell me WHICH matress would be suitable -i.e. please provide a product number/name on the sears website or URL.
The size info is helpful for sure, but ideally I was hoping for a recommendation.
