Time display unreadable ...

If the display was in the red/black LCD instead of the Green Backlit display, it would be almost perfect. I like everything else about it - especially the Station presets ! No more dialing in. Had this for 9 days now, but seriously considering returning it this week (within Sears 15 day limit) only because I can't see the display, no matter what mode - low, middle or high (like a bright night light). Have to put clock on an angle (back end up) in order to see it, and then I still can't see it properly (day or night). Otherwise sound and functions are all great!

Pros:Â Fast setup, Simple controls, Easy to use, Attractive design

Cons:Â unreadable display !

No battery backup

I just received this clock radio and the first thing I did was look for the battery compartment. There isn't one. I immediately packed it back and will return to the store. Who doesn't need back up battery power for your alarm clock?

Great little clock radio

Perfect for small nightstands, or those that have been taken over by books or other stuff. With the display dimmer, radio or selected tones dual-alarms, nap timer, snooze setting and digital radio tuning, this is a terrific clock radio that blows away most more expensive ones. The only option it doesn't have is being able to plug an mp3 player into it, but I didn't need that. My favourite thing about this clock radio is the digital tuning, no more fiddling with any dial to get my station tuned in.
