Powerful punch and great sound!

This system really sounds good. If you play a CD on it the speakers mixed with the surprisingly powerful sub get the party rockin'. The 1080P upscaling DVD player is excellent when hooked up with HDMI. There is little not to like about this system. Blu ray systems are nice but if you already have a bluray player you can channel the sound through into this unit anyway. I personally have plenty of DVD's and don't see a need for a bluray system and this system really rocks. Great quality sound. I recommend.

great sound and volume

I bought this to hook up to my 52'' samsung lcd tv. It is beautiful listening to movies. the volume will go full volume no problem. Full 600 watts. If you do not need blueray player or am radio then it is worth it. Look at the price. earlier this year it was 400.

Pros:Â Fast setup, Simple controls, Easy to use, Attractive design, nice easy remote.

I just bought this sony home theatre system and realized there is only 1 hdmi output. Is it possible to have a playstation3 and digital cable box hooked up at the same time and get 1080p quality and sound out of both without having to have one unplugged at all times? please answer asap im eager to get my new theatre system installed!! thanks

This device is really not a audio video receiver, its really a DVD player with intergrated sound. Most flat panels have 2-3 HDMI inputs, use that method to switch sources or purchase a seperate HDMI switcher.

No the back speakers are not wireless. Just run them around the baseboards tightly if you can to hide them. They do give you long amounts of wire.

This device has no inputs for audio, you need a different device for your purpose. If your PC has HDMI out look for a device with HDMI inputs, this will give you audio and video. Check out Sears item# 572 529 941 10 It will even allow you to send analog audio if your PC doesn't have HDMI
