Bigger than I tought at first. Nice addition to the tall Sonoma storage bed. Not too difficult to put together. I added some accent lighting, something that should be included with the kit.

I am aware that the headboard does not come with pre-drilled holes for attaching to a bed frame, but does it come with the nuts and bolts needed to attach it to a headboard? If not, do the instructions indicate what sizes would be needed?

No, we donât supply the nuts and bolts nor do we indicate it in the instructions. The type of bed frame will determine what kind and size of fasteners should be used.

Combining Tall Headboard with regular bed

Yes, it should work. The tall bed with the six drawers either side is extremely high and accommodates the shelf very well. Measure the height of your bed with boxspring and mattress to make sure. The shelves on the bookshelf are rather high.

Yes, any of our headboards can be used with any of our beds. They do not need to be attached to each other, (but you can secure them if you wish), therefore they donât have any predrilled holes.

Does the headboard/bookcase block the dresser doors at the top of the bed. This seems to be so in the picture that you have displayed with the bookcase head board.

Also for the bed frame, I noticed there is only one star on the reviews. Is that because not many have given a review? Or is the quality not as good?

The main shelf of the headboard is 29â from the floor, so yes the mattress will cover the openings, but only by an inch.

The headboards first shelf is 29 inches from the floor. The platform that the mattress sits on is 16 inches from the floor. Taking the 16 inches for the platform base and adding the 16 inches in height for the customers mattress/box spring gives a total height of 32 inches which would be 3 inches above the first shelf.

The platform storage beds do not require a box spring. The platform removes the necessity for a box spring as it provides support for the mattress. Since this is the case it is likely either headboard would be fine if the customer does not use the box spring.
