Nice machine

This is our second elliptical trainer. The first one was a Nordic Track that we had for about 8 years. My wife logged many hours on this machine and it served her well. I stopped using it early on as it was not strong enough to take my weight (200lb). It finally broke a main shaft and rather than repair it we replaced it with the Sole 35C after doing a lot of research. This is a much better machine, more robust and smoother and quieter. It has many levels of resistance and ramp levels to make the work outs as challenging as you want or as gentle. I assembled it myself but because it is up stairs in our house I had to dismantle it a bit further so I could handle the pieces up a curved staircase. The assembly was easy and actually turned out to be fun. The instructions were fine and easy to follow. It looks like a good machine that I hope will last a long time.

Solid Unit

I've had this for almost 9 months now and use it often. The build is solid. I just had one issue where one of the plastic covers doesn't fit properly, but I wasn't very worried about that as it doesn't affect the operation of the machine at all.
After a few uses, the track gets dirty and starts making a noise as if you're pulling tape off your skin, but a quick wipe of the track and a little blast of silicone spray does the job to fix that. There's always going to be dust/dirt in the air so to me this is just a regular maintenance thing and it's not a big deal. Other than that, the machine is very solid and performs really well. The motion is very smooth. I would recommend this machine, but ONLY if it's on sale. The regular price is way too ridiculous.

Great Machine

I bought this a month ago and use it all the time! Very quiet and it is also very stable, it does not wobble at all. The built in fan and IPOD port dont work too well, but otherwise its great! Would for sure recommend.
Took about three hours to put together with 2 people.

I love my elliptical trainer. It is quiet, smooth and programs easy to use. Took me about 3 hrs to assemble, but wasn't difficult.

We've been using our Sole E35 Elliptical Machine for a month now and absolutely love it. It provides a great workout, the machine itself is easy to program and use and it's so quiet...an enjoyable workout for all the members of our family.

What does the c stand for in E35c

Hi there, what does the C stand for? I don't want to purchase a lesser model than the E35 so why are you saying it's a E35c?

northerngal1: The manufacturer says that there is no difference between E35 and E35c. However, the E35c has the heart monitor and two User profiles. Their description of the E35 at their website features only pulse rate. Cheers

The printed sale flyer indicted this is the E35c model. Why the "c" designation? Also features and warranty do not correspond to those on the Sole website. Would like to purchase by Dec 5 , but will not until answers can be provided.
