DVD/CD storage

I like the product. Easy to assemble. Nice finish on the exterior surfaces. Cardboard backing but that is ok. I found that it would not hold as many items as stated due to the fact many DVD and CD items come in different packaging, some larger in size. I did have to wipe down all surfaces when I took the material out of the box as it was covered with a film of sawdust. No big deal though. I have ordered a second unit so that must tell you something.

Easy to put together!

The shelves can be adjusted to fit either cd's, dvd's, or whatever you are putting on them. And it's really easy to put together - my 7yr old did most of the work.

actual depth of shelves?

Hi:

Is 8-3/4" the actual depth of the shelves, or the base? The base looks wider and deeper than the shelf itself. Please clarify the dimensions.

8 3/4" is the base measurement. The shelves are designed to hold CD cases and are approximately 5.8" deep. Hope that helps!
