Rated 4 out of 5 by from A gift For Cooper I bought the Anniversary Cooper Bear because a friend in Scotland has a grandson named Cooper. I thought that it was too good an opportunity to miss. The bear is not quite as nice as it looks in the catalogue and I had to smooth out his fur. That being said, I doubt if Cooper will mind if he looks a bit raggedy. the sweater is adorable.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Décevant Je collectionne les « toutous de Noël » depuis 2003. Celui de cette année m'a déçue, principalement parce qu'il ne comporte pas l'inscription de l'année comme les autres. De plus, il est plus grand et ne va pas avec ma collection. Il est moins accrocheur, moins de détails; bref il est commun.

Future charity bears...

Will you be producing future Charity bears with the date? I have been collecting since 2003 and allthough I know the money goes to a good cause, I like the dated stuffie much better.
Asked by: miller03
Hello miller03, Thank you for taking the time to share your comments with us regarding 'Cooper'. We have received feedback from our valued customers regarding '2012' not being embroidered on the bear and the disappointment in this oversight. Please ensure that the tag stating '60 Years of Wishes' remains intact as this is the only identifying mark. We apologize for any inconvenience that our decision caused our collecting customers and in 2013, we expect to return to a more pleasing and expected identification of the year. Thank you. Have a great day!

Annual stuffed animal with date embroidered on foot

Is Sears not producing the usual stuffed animal with date? Is Cooper the replacement?, I hope not. I have been purchasing these animals for my children's Christmas stockings since 1999 and hope that Sears has not discontinued this tradition.
Asked by: dedwards
Hello dedwards, The Sears®/MD Cooper™ the Bear is the annual stuffed toy for 2012. Sears will donate $2 from every purchase of Cooper™ to programs that promote the healthy development of youth in your community. Cooper is not dated on the foot but does feature a tag on his ear indicating that he is the 60th anniversary charity figure. We hope that you will find him an adorable addition to your collection. Thank you for choosing Sears.

Sears Collectible Charity Plush?

Is Cooper Bear the latest in the series of plush animals that I have been collecting since 2005? He does not have the date on his foot like the others.
Asked by:
Hello, Yes, Cooper is this year's Sears Charity figure. It is slightly larger this year in honour of Sears 60th Wishbook Anniversary. Cooper is not dated but does feature a tag on his ear indicating that he is the 60th anniversary charity figure. Thank you for choosing Sears.
