I have used this sealer for over a year now and it has worked well for me. I have only used the bags (not the optional containers) - I use the rolls that way you can customize the size and waste less. However I have had some trouble when I made the bags too small - they don't want to seal then, but the problem was resolved with a slightly larger bag. I think the bags have to be large enough to reach between the two plastic guides in the drip tray and to leave a space between the food and the top of the bag so that the food isn't sucked into the area that is to be sealed. Food keeps much longer in the freezer with these bags than the resealable freezer bags - but trickier for runny/soft food. It is recommended if the item has juice to partially freeze it and I find this works okay. Baking needs to be fully frozen or it squishes. But fish keeps MUCH longer using these bags than resealable ones.
