I would like to know what is the weight restriction for the top? I plan on putting my microwave and needed to know if this cabinet will accommodate it.

Yes it will hold your microwave - I actually have a fish tank sitting on one of mine

what is the weight restriction if you're stacking them?
Can you stack the buffet/hutch on top of this base cabinet, and if so, what would be the weight restrictions then? For example, by itself, the top holds 50 lbs, but when you stack them, (one unit on top of the other), what are the weight restrictions then?
Asked by: SueFam
The base cabinets, 411591 and 411967,can be stacked one on top of the other. However, the Sauder model number is needd to verify if the buffet/hutch that you are inquiring about could possibly be stacked on top of the base or not.
