Nice Dresser

I wanted a rustic looking dresser for my cottage and this fits the bill. Sturdy design with good instructions provided. YOU DO need to follow the directions for assembly! Distressed finish will look good at the lake.

Looks nice from a distance

but the back of these pieces are sheets of cardboard essentially. Also, I found the set too difficult to put together, even though I have put together my share of Ikea furniture. I bought the dresser, night stand and chest. The drawers were particularly tricky to assemble. I ended up paying professionals to do it and they had a hard time as well, and had to come a second time, and even then didn't get it quiet right. I still have two drawers that don't open and shut as smoothly as the others. I did find the customer service excellent at Sauder though. They replaced a scratched piece quickly by Post. The experience was however more complicated than I expected and I would shy away from buying products like this in the future.

I received one piece in the collection, it is very cheap looking and therefore returned all the other pieces. The only reason I kept the first piece I received is because my husband glued all the pieces together. The drawers were difficult to line up and the paint was poor quality.

Cons:Â Not well constructed
