What you need is an HDMI cable connected to the TV from your laptop. You can also use a VGA cable as well. HDMI is the best though.

Is this really 120Hz? That would be a departure for Samsung. traditionally they reserve this for series 6 and up. All other sites list this tv as 60Hz.

The refresh rate refers to the frequency with which the image on the TV screen is updated. In the case of this TV, the refresh rate of 60 Hz means that the image you are looking at on the HDTV is updated 60 times a second.
