damaged in boxi purchased this high chair a while ago and just recently decided to assemble it.
in doing so i found out the plastic in multiple areas was warped and i could not even attempt to assemble, it really makes me question the durability over time.

Very hard to adjustA few good things about this high chair are (1) the adjustable height (although the tallest adjustment is only as high as a normal table, not a pub table); (2) how easy it is to remove the tray and wash
And a few not so good things are (1) the straps are horrible and are so annoying to adjust. Each strap has multiple adjustment spots making it impossible to adjust quickly. The chest strap also sits up very high and it cannot be moved down, so it sits up too close to my sons neck for my liking. I only buckle the lap strap for now until he gets a bit taller; (2) It does not wipe clean. The fabric looks like it would be easy to wipe down (one of the reasons we bought it) but food often just soaks into it instead of wiping off.
Overall it does the job, but I would not recommend it to a friend, and for our next baby I will definitely be investing in something better.

Really disapointedWhile they say that hindsight is 20/20, I have to say I'm really disappointed with this chair. I have been using it since my daughter was 6 months old (she's now 11#. The only things that I like about it are 1# the height adjustability #but it won't adjust to a pub-height table if that's something you're looking for with the 7 settings#, and 2# how easy the tray is to maneuver.
I think that it is completely unacceptable for the infant support to have fallen apart at the seams after the first wash #cold water in the machine, air dry#. We stopped using it after a few weeks because my daughter didn't need it anymore, but a few weeks ago the main seat has come apart at the seams as well....I was it about once a week because while the fabric is softer etc, it is impossible to keep clean by simply wiping down. So incredibly disappointed with the quality!
Nit-picky things that annoy me are 1# how hard it is to get the seat cushion on and off #can't reach where the clips have to hook on to the seat so half the time I can't get them back on), 2) the tray doesn't fit into our dishwasher #which I would say is pretty standard sized), 3) the tray does not go in close enough to my daughter #she's in the 50th percentile weight wise for her age so I find it kind of odd that the seat doesn't 'work' for her size).
So...if you want a seat that is horrible to keep clean and constantly looks ratty with stuffing falling out of it, get this one. If I were to do it again, I'd drop a few hundred dollars and get the Stokke seat -- I tried this when visiting family in Denmark and it is fantastic!

Are the seat pads removable for washing on this high chair?
Asked by: Ennaid
Yes the seat pad can be removed from this high chair and the fabric can be washed in a machine.
