To measure for gloves, with your hand half closed, measure around hand, over knuckles, excluding thumb. That measurement, in inches, is your size.

With a flexible measuring tape, measure around your knuckles with your hand in a loose fist. If you don't have a flexible measuring tape, use a piece of string and measure the string with a ruler after you've wrapped it around your knuckles.
