I love these boots......but hesitating on which color to choose. The red looks great....but, is it too daring ? Any suggestions on which color is the nicest ?

No red is not too daring, you should definitely buy the red pair!
I bought similar boots in bright red in 2004. They look great with jeans or any pants actually, and a complimenting jacket or coat. I wear them with red accessories like gloves and a scarf or a pair of red mittens and hat and I've always gotten compliments on them.
If someone tells you're too old for such a bright color, tell them to mind their own business. I'm an almost 66 year old grandmother of 5 and I will be wearing my red boots until they wear out! When that happens, I'll find another pair of red boots to wear!

The blue is very nice and goes with any colour jeans. I think I might get the red as well though just because it is a bit different.
