band discolours quickly

I owned a blue banded Roots watch and loved it for more than a year. Updated to this pink banded watch, and the band is much lighter than it appears in the picture, and discoloured quickly, tried to wash it, nothing works, have had it for less than 2 months and it's dirtier than the blue one I've had for more than a year. Roots watches are great, stick to a darker coloured band.
