Poor Design

We bought this luggage to travel in Europe this summer. However on the very first day of travel two holes developed on the base of the duffle bag from pulling the luggage by its wheels. The bag does not have a solid base so when luggage is placed inside and you tilt the bag upright to pull it by the wheels all the luggage shifts slightly towards the bottom causing it to bulge and then the bulge drags on the street and the duffle bag rapidly acquires holes.

Very poor design by Roots since the duffle bag needs to have a stiff plastic insert on the base to prevent the bulging when pulling the duffle bag upright by the wheels.

Pros:Â light weight

Cons:Â Poor quality, poor design
