Meets expectations for price paid

I purchased this futon for a spare bedroom. I let the guests use my daughters bed and moved her to this futon. It is attractive and has fairly good quality. I purchased the hazelnut colour. The fabric is very nice. Comfortable to sit on.

There are zippers under one side that open and stabalizing feet fold out. There is no assembly except screwing on the 4 feet and pulling out the two stabalizing feet. This comes all as one big piece. It was difficult to even get the box in the back of a minivan. It is also difficult to move as the sides want to fold in while moving it and it is hard to grasp anywhere.

As far as comfort, this is a weak area. This is not something you want to sleep on regularly. My daughter has complained about sleeping on it for the weekend. It is very hard where the fold is on the middle. But I plan to buy a foam or feather bed layer to put on top. I think it will be very acceptable then. Probabaly after more use it will break in and soften a bit.

Overall I am happy with the product. It looks nice, is fairly sturdy and reasonably ok for sleeping on.

Oh, and the product has no plastic on it inside the box. Be carfeul if it is raining or opening the box outside.

Pros:Â no assembly, nice fabric, Attractive, Good quality, functional

Cons:Â hard to sleep on, awkward to move, large packaging
