Rated 5 out of 5 by from Panasonic Microwave The first microwave I received would not accept the first step of setting the time so wouldn't function. We had no trouble exchanging it for a new one & this one works perfectly. It's easy to use & has lots of power. I also love the look of it.

turntable size

the description says the interior is 14" by about 14", yet described the turntable as 15"? Doubtful that would fit. What are the actual dimensions?
Asked by: rcmcg
Hi rcmcg, Thank you for taking the time to contact Sears. The turntable is 13.5" not 15" as stated on the Sears website. We are in the process of updating the website. We apologize for any inconvenience it has caused you.

Venting

I would like to purchase this microwave and place it on a shelf that is designed for microwaves. The shelf is below a kitchen cabinet. What clearance is required for this microwave on all sides? Thanks
Asked by:
Hello, Please be advised the Panasonic® 1.2 cu. Ft. Genius Counter Top Microwave - Stainless Steel must be placed on a flat, stable surface. Place the front surface of the door 7.6 cm (3-inches) or more from the counter top edge to avoid accidental tipping of the microwave oven during normal use. For proper operation, the oven must have sufficient air flow. Allow 7.6 cm (3-inches) of space on both sides of the oven and 5 cm (2-inches) of space on the top of the microwave. Thank you for shopping at Sears and have a great day!
