Hello,
First it is important to note that most guitar necks taper in width from the Sound hole to the Headstock where the strings pass over the nut. The nut is the slotted plastic piece which holds the strings in place and is mounted just below the headstock. In simple terms the sound ends at the nut. Our Model 3301MB has a neck width (or fret width) at the sound hole of 2". At the nut the width is 1.5".
