Awesome machineI bought this eight months ago, set up was straight forward, instructions were easy to follow. Feels as good as one in a gym but without having to drive or wait for a machine.

Very DissapointedHave had for less then six months, every time the flywheel turns clicks and bangs horribly. Not quality made, Horrible customer service at NordicTrack if you can ever get through. Would almost pay someone to take from my basement if i didnt still owe sears money. I will never purchase an elliptical from a department store again. go buy quality, not worth the money.

Cheap and poorly madeHad my previous one replaced because of noise issues. After putting new one together, I find out that the ramp on this one doesn't work! Worst purchase ever!!!!!!!

Disappointed...Product appears to be of quality, although I'm starting to have issues with it making extremely loud squeaking noises.

Good deal if on sale- not like gym qualityI bought this elliptical because the elliptical is my favourite machine to use at any gym I ever go to.
Pros: It is smooth, and you can get a good workout with it and the fan is a great addition to have (much better than the fan on the Sole machine). The speakers are nice to plug in the iPod or tablet to watch a show and hear what is going on.
Cons: the display is not great (colour poor and very basic), my machine already makes a few noises and I've only been using it for a month. Also the calorie count is not accurate for different body types (just gives a generic calorie count, but we all know that a 250lb man burns differently than a 150lb woman).
Lastly, I found the heart rate monitor using the handles to be inaccurate (HR changed from 136 to 172 back to 91 within 2 minutes of consistent activity)...BUT when I wore the Polar HR monitor it was MUCH better.
Overall I would recommend this machine if you can get it for 60% off and want a decent home machine.

Disappointed, broke down after a DayDisappointed, broke down after a Day
It took about 3 hrs to put together, working on all the front end of machine. It worked great for the first Day, The second day while turning it on, it was making a clicking sound at start-up at the back end where the back cover is. You can see when you take the back plastic cover off and look inside that there is a little electric motor with a little plastic pulley banging on the flywheel that the belt runs on. I guess something wasn't tighten at the factory, or on start-up it adjusts every time.

Good Quality EllipticalI am happy with my purchase. I was looking for a good quality elliptical to replace my old one. Found this one on sale at Sears and it had all the features I was looking for. It was fairly easy to assemble. It took my husband and I about 2 hrs to put it together. The machine is packaged very well, and the instructions are easy to follow. I love the way it works.... Gives me a great workout. Fan works well and I love the built in speakers. Only negative things I could say about the machine is the iFit module does not seem like a good investment. I have read may reviews and most are negative. I was thinking about purchasing it as an add on to the work the machine offers but wont until the reviews improve. Also the machine has a squeak... I have ask my husband if he can fix it... I hope he can. I hate when a machine makes noise, it distracts me from my workout. If he can I guess ill just turn up my music.

Good product. So far very happy with itI was looking for a product that was sturdy and has a proven track record. I tried various machines in a number of stores and found I liked this one the best. It has features that make it flexibility for different users. Assembly and directions was easy enough to follow. Operation of the machine is easy and smooth. It comes with a 3 year warranty (lesser models 1 year) and the price was right. Delivery was as stated. The only I don' t give this a 5 is I haven't had the machine long. After a year of using I could answer that better. Two of move it to the basement without difficulty and conpleted the assembly there.
Does it come with iFit module or do you have to purchase separately?
