This set is absolutely beautiful and I will be keeping an eye on it to see if it ever goes on sale. The buffet and hutch are very nice also. I have friends in the states, I am going to have them price it for me.

The full set is off white in colour with distress effects purposely added during manufacture. The table surface scratches easily and will need a good protective coating within a year of use. Awaiting method from Sears.

This Monet table includes one 18" leaf. The size of the table with the leaf in it is 66'' w. x 48'' d. x 30'' h. Without the leaf the table is a 48" circle x 30" h. Additional leaves cannot be purchased.

Easily Scratched?

Does anyone know if the table shows scratches easily? If kids and normal use will be scratching it up and the marks look obvious then maybe it's not for me. Very beautiful table, I just hope it stays that way for a long time. Thanks!!!

Yes , the table does scratch easily with normal usage. We have contacted Sears on the method to refinish the protective coating. If it is easily done, then we recommend the full set as it is quite stunning.

hi there usually white finishes and light finishes do not really show the scratches, darker finishes do.
