Rated 4 out of 5 by from Lego My 8 year old nephew loves it. Likes to make his own creation. It would be great if it would come in a small case.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wonderful gift for boys aged 6-10 I gave this item to a 9 year old for his birthday. He was very happy with it. When talking to his friends at the party they all said they wanted "Lego Chimo - Ultimate Speedor Tournament set" for Christmas. I later found out that all 10 boys have a set.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A good set i think this set is really cool, my little brother got it for his birthday and we have had a lot of fun with it. i think the pros are:really cool minifigs, the speedorz work really well, and the set design is pretty wicked. the cons:the lion structure doesn't stay together very well and the course is difficult to get the speedorz to go through other than that it's a great set i would recommend it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A Great Set For A Great Price! This set is very good in several different ways. One way is that it is an inexpensive way to get Cragger and Laval. Another way is that you still get your 2 Speedorz and you get a fairly easy set to build with your Speedorz. I personally prefer to set it up with the Lion CHI Gate first and then the Fire Pilons and then the CHI Ramp and then crashing into the CHI Tower. The Power-Upz are cool too. The Power-Upz Laval has provides much Speedor Stability. You also get a yellow and a green Ripcord. For $30.00, this is a great set!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor instructions Building the lego models was very easy, but the game instructions do not explain how to play the "game". I went online and found the official videos for how to play this particular game, but even this was not clear. I get that you can send one Speedor through the first gate, and this should send the little blue ball up into the air and one of you can catch it. But why do the instructions tell you to launch both Speedors... one going through the obstacles and the other going right around them? And what's the deal with the other obstacle which, when you hit it, simply knocks the ball straight to the floor? And don't even get me started on the card game - that made no sense at all from the instructions. And why does the video cut away so often that you can't really tell what's going on? This made me suspicious that this thing doesn't work at all, and that the kids in the video couldn't actually get any of this to work in practice. The whole thing smacks of a great idea that wasn't properly tested to make sure it worked. Despite that, my son enjoyed making the craft, and enjoys speeding them into the obstacles and sending everything flying... which is all this is good for. But if you're expecting some kind of game that 2 can play... forget it.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poorly designed and faulty My daughter was keen to try out a Speedorz set, so I decided to purchase this one as it has two speeders and sets of cards, meaning that we could play the game together. It was a pretty straightforward build. Unfortunately though, as a game we found it impossible to play. We encountered the following issues: - one of the speeders had a wobbly wheel and would only travel around 6 inches before coming to a halt - we found it impossible to get the other speeder over the ramp to take out the second ball. I literally tried 30 or 40 times, but it would always hit the ramp and veer off or stop altogether. Every time. - one of the speeders has circular saw blades poking out from the sides making it almost the same width as the archway you are supposed to aim it through - thus the game is unfair to the player using that speeder. Really basic design error there. - the instructions are vague and ambiguous - most of the instructions are told with pictures and no words to avoid having to print the manual in different languages I suspect. For example, what are you supposed to do if each player grabs one ball each...? What if the player who isn't controlling the speeder grabs both balls...? So all up - poor design and poor quality. Hard to believe it is a LEGO product really. I own over 150 sets and this is the only one I regret purchasing.
