This grinder does grind coffee better than a regular blade-type grinder. The flavour is richer and more aromatic. We've had one for 5 years. Yes, there is static in the container, but we've just leaqrned to work around that. My beef is that the little blue light button came loose and fell off. I guess nothing lasts forever! Great ginder. Will most likely purchase another one exactly the same.

Plastic Static Cling

This would be a great grinder if it had glass instead of plastic, as the static charge builds up and the coffee ends of hanging on to itself, the inside of the container and generally making a mess everywhere. As well, the capacity of the grinder isn't great, so you are basically refilling it every 2 pots or so. We have had this for years, and I had hoped to be able to find the KitchenAid ProLine burr grinder, as it has the glass containers, and a bigger hopper.

Just received this and I must say I love it. It does everything it's supposed to. The coffee beans are ground to the exact specification and evenly. The coffee tastes so much better.

Pros:Â Well constructed, Stylish, Easy to operate

Cons:Â no cons
