I just got these for my 6 and 7 year old. Size 12 and 2. They both love them. I think they will be fine for juniors - easy to get on and pull tight. My kids have also already figured out just to tuck the long pull string into the top of the boot so it's out of the way. I like the height of the boot since we walk to school and there are no sidewalks in our area.

I ordered a size 12 and 5 I am waiting on the 5. The size 12 fits my 5 yr old. Just a heads up; 1. the liner is a little thin but on the plus does come out for easy drying 2. the tongue of the boot is not fully stitched closed so it could allow snow in easily 3. the laces need to be tightented alot to allow a secure fit, but then they overhang as they are not individual laces but one long continuous loop.
These boots are absolutely as cute as they look but not practical for little ones especially for play. Chances are they will be returned.
