I didn't think I would like the e-reader. I thought I would miss the feel of the book, but I love it. I highly recommend the e-reader

does this e-reader already have some pre-teen books downloaded on it as my grandaughter (9) loves to read but most of these books are for adults,also can the books on there be deleted if not wanted?

No books are preloaded. But, there is a selection I saw under the heading of kids titles and you can search practically any title and find appropriate stuff. Books are easily and quickly deleted.

The Kobo comes with 100 books that are considered Classics...after 6 months, I hadn't read even 1 of them, so I deleted them off of my Kobo. You do have to delete them 1 by 1. Some of the books were; Alice in Wonderland, Tom Sawyer, Pride & Prejudice etc...
I enjoy my Kobo, vs Kindle, because I borrow from the library for most of my books. I just slip it in the leather sleeve & carry it with me everywhere I go, when I have to wait anywhere, I always have a book to read. :o)

You have to be sure you are purchasing the "Touch Edition" of the eReader or you might end up with the "regular" one with buttons. The one with the big square looking button on the front is NOT the touch edition.

The Koboâ¢ Wireless E-Reader does not have a touch screen but a soft navigation pad.
