Having Problem with the pin

Hi There,
This is a great product! My wife is very happy to have this in our kitchen.
BUT, the day we bought this product there is a small problem with the metal PiN at the back upper L part.
That PiN comes sliding out from the other end?
I tried to reach kitchen aid through 1-800 number and I am still waiting on the phone :))
Yes evantually I managed to speak with a represantative.
He told me that they do not ptovide service with 3-4 year old mixers.
The fault that I am having is because of "design"
The pin should not be sliding Out! But it is sliding OUT from the first day.
OK it took me this much time to give them a call, but this sliding out pin is a reality. I will take it to a service in Moncton and show them.
Waiting beside the product with a hammer in my hand to stuck the pin where it belongs is not fun anymore.

Pros:Â High quality

Cons:Â it has a "sliiding out pin" at the elbow
