When you realize all the uses for this attachment it becomes much more appealing. Granted the price is very high no matter where you buy this. Very well constructed.

Great Kitchen Aid Attachment To Have

I have had this Kitchen Aid Slicer/Shredder Attachment Set for over 10 years and it still works as good as when it was new.
This Slicer/Shredder Attachment Set is great when I do my canning this saves me time and less work. doing all types of vegetables except celery does not work so well, Does a perfect job every time.
Great for Hard cheeses as well.
Easy to clean and I love it.
Great Price here at Sears.
You will be happy when you have and use this.

Slice and sheds ... no dice though...

Great slicer and shredder.

Slicing does it very smoothly. Shredding is (with fine) very good but not as fine as a hand grader... but this method saves plenty of time!

After my first use, the blade wouldn't come off without a tool... now they slide off with a good twist and pull.

No manual to tell you what speed settings for the type of food you are putting through. Guess work (I used 4-6 for cheese, 8 for deli meat slicing - with Professional HD 500 series Kitchenaid mixer)
