Rated 5 out of 5 by from best mixer ever I love this mixer. It makes baking so much easier, and quicker. I wouldn't trade it in, in a million years. best mixer ever.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Mixer Just recently purchased a Kitchen Aid Stand Mixer Artisan. So far I have made cinnamon rolls, peanut butter cookies, and on Thanksgiving Weekend I made my turkey dressing using the Artisan mixer. It is so much easier than mixing by hand or using my hand mixer. It is the first time I have ever used a stand mixer and I only wish I had purchased one of these years before.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Kitchen Aid stand mixer This is actually the second Artisan I have purchased! I replaced a smaller stand mixer in 2004. I use it for all my baking needs. It has the power I need and the capacity for the recipes I make. The mixing bowl is a good size and the handle is very handy to secure my hold while I empty the bowl. It is a true pleasure to use and I am very proud to say I have a Kitchen Aid! Some recipes take more time to measure the ingredients than it does to mix them! It basically walks through recipes my other mixer would struggle with. I also use the wire whip for whipping egg whites for meringue . I was amazed at the huge difference in the volume of the whites. This led to a second purchase for my daughter's Christmas gift this year. I know she will love her's for years to come as I do!

Old Kitchenaid attachments fit new Kitchenaid?

We have a Kitchen Centre from around 1983 that is gradually dying. (If I speak nicely to it it starts to work again!) I was wondering if the new KitchenAid stand mixer will use the same parts as they are still in excellent condition? By the picture, the meat grinder is the same design. We have a blender, a meat grinder, and a salad shredder.
Asked by: MrsDtheBaker
Hello MrsDtheBaker, The attachments on KitchenAid standmixers fit any standmixers they have made since the early 40's. Our supplier has indicated that the attachments should fit. Thank you for shopping Sears.
